Imporant updates from 247 Networks on COVID-19

COVID-19 Business Continuity Update

247 Networks wants to ensure the safety of your organization as well as our staff members.  Over the past few weeks, it has become clear that the world is facing an unprecedented challenge.  Many of you are actively managing or preparing your families, clients, and businesses through the Coronavirus outbreaks around the world.

 

We recognize the severity of the situation for everyone and together, we can work towards preventing further spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.  247 Networks will be implementing preventative measures and we wanted to share with you our plans on how we will continue to support you and our partners in the days, weeks, and months to come.

 

SERVICE AND SUPPORT

 

We are committed to continue providing our fanatical support service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which includes after-hour support (after-hour rates may apply).  As we continue to monitor the situation, our services will continue as normal with the following exceptions:

 

  • Based on recommendations from the Public Health Agency of Canada, 247 Networks will suspend all on-site visits until further notice and review urgent requests on a case-by-case basis;

 

  • Should there be a lock-down, 247 Networks has proactively prepared our staff members to continue to operate services remotely / work-from-home scenario;

 

  • Should there be any sort of policies in which we can no longer work from the office, we are ready to fulfill our SLA’s and to continue our culture of service commitment to you.

 

As a quick summary, we have implemented policies for our staff members to continue to work and support you remotely and will continue to monitor the situation.  Urgent on-site visits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

 

We will continue to monitor the rapidly evolving public health situation surrounding COVID-19. As an organization, our number one priority will always be the health and safety of our clients, staff and service providers.

 

  • We are asking our staff to continue to wash their hands routinely as we have also provided an adequate amount of hand sanitizers for everyone in the office to use;

 

  • We are also asking our staff to keep a clean working environment by wiping tables down with disinfectants;

 

  • We are closely following the guidance and advice from the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Centre for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and other global and provincial health agencies;

 

  • We are implementing a policy that prohibits travel outside of British Columbia and all non-essential travel until further notice;

 

  • We encourage all non-essential communications to be conducted either by phone, video conference, or virtual meetings.
